I started into section 25 (or 22c, depending on how you're counting) and had a crisis. I suddenly couldn't remember if I was supposed to be writing in first person or third person! Even worse, I had the sinking feeling that I'd been doing it wrong for the last several sections.
Much to my relief, I discovered that all of City of Dreams was in first person.
I need to pick one point of view and stick with it for the rest of my novels. Maybe...second-person plural omniscient.
Yeah. That'll work.
I prefer the first-second-third-person, plural, omnipotent, omnipresent, omniscient--although that perspective poses a number of theological difficulties.
